The Creed

God is not a rival to his creation, the closer god gets the more beautiful we become. And we are not consumed by God’s presence but elevated by it. The light of God enters into our humanity so as to make our humanity luminous with his light. The creed declares our great faith, that Jesus will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and when that happens his kingdom will have no end.

Filmed at the historic missions of California’s central coast, Bishop Robert Barron talks about six dynamic lessons through this new film series, The Creed.

Made for Word on Fire, this is the trailer for a smart and serious explanation of Christianity for skeptics, seekers, and nonbelievers alike, which also answers why the chrurch needs creeds at all.
