Statue of St. Joseph

This trailer of the documentary made for the The Premonstratensian Fathers highlights the history of the statue, its original formation, its connection to our faith history, and its current importance in our world. The trailer also served as an invitation to a tradition of celebrating The Solemnity of St. Joseph (St. Joseph’s Day), A historic moment to impact our nation.

For over 120 years, the National Shrine of St. Joseph has been a place of quiet prayer and pilgrimage from thousands of visitors who sought his intercession and to imitate his faithful witness. By telling the story of the statue and the people who encounter it, a greater understanding, love, and devotion to Saint Joseph will be fostered as we enter into the year of Saint Joseph named by Pope Francis.
