Catholic Underground in Slow Motion

The team here at Spirit Juice Studios hopped on a plane to New York City for a whirlwind weekend at Catholic Underground, an event featuring Eucharistic adoration and “new evangelization” through the showcase of Catholic musicians, poets, visual artists, dancers, filmmakers, and more.

Along with the basic travel essentials, we brought along a RED Epic camera, a few lights, backdrop, and buckets of glitter to offer up a new wrinkle to the event: slow motion video. A great time was had by all, and we have video evidence on YouTube to support our claim.

Catholic Underground holds a special place for us, as we once served as the Chicago representatives for the group, producing and executing our own events in conjunction with the St. John Paul II Newman Center, affiliated with the University of Illinois at Chicago.
