Monthly Update | April 2022

For our April Monthly Update, we check in with our vice president of development Branden Stanley, who just flew back to Chicago from a film location scouting trip to jolly old London. It seems to have made quite an impression on him, but thankfully he didn’t deliver the entire update in his new British accent.

We reconnected with one of our favorite clients, the McGrath Institute at the University of Notre Dame, to capture a round table discussion. This format presented some shooting challenges, so watch the video to learn about how we overcame them.

Another longtime client, Word on Fire, hired us to produce a video promoting their new Liturgy of the Hours book subscription service. With a limited crew for this shoot, we were able to make creative use of some new equipment to get the footage we needed.

Lastly, Branden provides an update on the Spirit Juice Studios internship program that just graduated another intern, who recently screened her passion project video for the Spirit Juice staff at our office. This program is a phenomenal way for new filmmakers to learn the craft from our talented staff members and complete a project of their choice using our high-end equipment and getting tips and feedback from seasoned filmmakers. Learn more about our internship program here.

Thanks for watching this month’s update and for your continued support of all things Spirit Juice! We have a lot of exciting projects coming up, and we’d love to work with you as well!
